In addition to developing an array of underwater images to promote discussion and imaging techniques, AIM also produces a calendar of member images.

Each year a contest is conducted to choose quality images from our membership. The selected images are then displayed in the following year's calendar.

Order forms for 2009 Calendar. Contact Barbara Leary.

Aquatic Image Makers

AIM was established several years ago with the focus of providing support to underwater photographers and videographers in the greater Sacramento/Sierra Foothills area. Our mission statement stresses networking with other area photographic organizations while encouraging growth in our photography skill through presentations by our members and guest speakers. Group dive outings to both cold and warm water destinations provide additional opportunities for us to practice and improve our techniques while increasing our image portfolios. Our annual film festival provides a platform to display our work and compete for publication in the club calendar. Membership is open and very diverse, ranging from first-time image makers to professionals. If your are interested in joining our club or would just like information on upcoming events, please contact Carol or Joe Herrlie at pathways@starband.net.
